I have more great CUES Experience news. We've alluded to it a bit in earlier posts, but I want to make an official announcement.
We've added another site visit to the already cool list of offerings at Experience. In addition to the Minnesota Twins, Mall of America, Summit Brewing Company, and Fair Isaac, we've added Pixel Farm Interactive to the line-up of innovative and forward-thinking businesses you may visit.
Pixel Farm Interactive, a part of Pixel Farm, Inc., specializes in interactive media and applications. Their team of strategists, writers, designers, and coders has created multi-channel marketing strategies for Best Buy and Target, implemented business simulations with Cargill, and designed interactive learning for US Bank. I was blown away by their client list and samples of their work.
Morriss Partee, chief experience officer for EverythingCU.com, will be facilitating the visit to Pixel Farm Interactive. I think he summarized it best in a comment on Lisa's Choose Your Own Experience post.
"It's clear that today's member demands an effective online experience. And the best online experience is one that engages the viewer. One of the best ways to engage people is through fun and education -- something that the Pixel Farms principals believe in, and one that CU professionals can dive into back at their shops. Also, Pixel Farms has developed tools to track the ROI of their interactive online creations. And as if all that weren't enough, they also do music scoring, recording, and visual finishing and effects for major brands....To sum up: We're going to find out how a major video/interactive/music agency uses education and fun as a marketing tool."
Check out both Pixel Farm Web sites. Pixelfarm.com focuses on the agency's post-production work in television spots for major brands (read Garmin, Target, Purina, Best Buy, Polaroid, BMW, Anderson Windows, Discovery Channel, and on and on) and music videos for artists like Prince, Rob Thomas, Foo Fighters, Incubus, Bare Naked Ladies, Liz Phair, and Hillary Duff. (Man, talk about a range.)
Pixelfarminteractive.com details the interactive side of the business, including e-learning, interactive and multi-channel marketing, business simulations, and more. It's a cool site; keep an eye out for hidden "easter eggs" (a balloon launch, time and temperature updates, and others).
I'm really excited about this site visit, and it's the one I'll be attending when I'm at Experience. Many thanks to Morriss for agreeing to take the helm on this one.
